9615 - 0116ut - Radio Cultura, Sao Paulo - Brazil - (PP) - Tentative, no ID heard. First time I ever heard this here. This is one of my favorite shortwave stations in the whole world. I'm use to hearing it on the 17 mhz band during high sunspot cycle. This station plays the best "Bosa Nova""Samba" style jazz. the style of music is the way to indentify it. Good recption till 0200 sign off. (or fade out). 684 - 2335z - RNE, Spain - (SS) - Very Nice TA logging on the AM Broadcast band. Heard this with audio at this time, also //585, //855. I've heard this many times in the past, but I always presumed what it was because even though the audio was not that clear, it was // those other frequencies.. however at 0100z I got a clear ID on the hour: 5 short pips and one long time pip, then short spanish followed by jingle music and then "Radio National de Espana" ID, just like on the shortwave version. As a follow-up, I caught the ID for Cote D'Ivoire the next night as, "Ici Radio Cote D' Ivoire" just before sign off again at 0001*. Also, I checked 7200 kHz for Sudan at their sign-on at *0300, and heard the National Anthem, and then the ID, "Huna Omderman, Idha'atu gumhuriya as Sudan", just like in the WRTH. (BC-NJ)

7215 - 2323z - RTI-(presumed), Cote D'Ivoire - (FF) - Game or contest program w/Man taking call-ins about a piece of music, very French sounding song. This kept up till 2355, then into news headlines and off at 0001ut with Anthem (instr/choir). Did not catch a full ID only Cote D'Ivoire at the end. The signal peaked at 2335 then started to drop-off. Be aware, when I was checking for other Africans I found something sounding African on 7285, but it turned out to be R.Netherlands.
