6535 kHz - 0254z - Dakar Center, Senegal - (EE) - sio:443 - "Dakar" I.D. at 0256. Aircraft calling "Dakar." Dakar responds with "Calling Dakar?" This is more of a flight following operation on HF, assigning flight levels, etc., where air traffic control (ATC) would be on UHF or VHF close in to the airport, like New York Center. I just wanted to confirm John's excellent catch in the entry prior to this.
