6285 kHz - 22.30 utc - China National Radio, China (pressumably) - (Mandarin?) - sio:444 - I've been monitoring this b'cast over the last few days. Mainly OM + YL tk, (Asian) and also sounded "commercial" in nature. Shutdown was abrupt, at 23.30 utc / As no info on any such b'cast could be located on the net, (or otherwise), I logged it as 'unID'. However, a definite ID was heard [in English] this evening at 23.20 utc. / Sometimes it pays to be patient. 1035 kHz - 15.00 utc - Easy Radio London, England (Crystal Palace) - (EE) - sio:132 - A fairly new commercial station for London. 24hr. 1kW. / ID heard at 15.00 utc. / I have tried to receive 'ERL' on several occaisions without much success. However, I finally managed to pick it up on my portable Panasonic, just using it's built in ferrite rod. I eventually managed to null out QRM from BBC Radio Jersey ('another' Channel Island), on 1026 kHz, which is part of the problem here in Guernsey. - (Panasonic RF-B45 (portable) - Guernsey, Chan. 6225 kHz - 18.20 utc - Radio Pakistan, Pakistan - (Arabic) - sio:443 - Not a lot of net info on this b'cast. : Eike Bierwirth's "B03 Comprehensive Shortwave Broadcasting Schedule" mentions, 18.15 - 19.00 utc, to the Middle East in Arabic. / Reception here was quite good, apart from slight fading and a rather distorted audio.
